Manthos Mavromatis

Manthos Mavrommatis

He was born in Nicosia in 1957.

He holds a B.Sc. (Econ) degree from the London School of Economics and a MBA degree from the Business School of the University of Chicago.

He is the General Manager of a family business and is a member of the board of other private companies.

He was Chairman of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Currently he is the Coordinator of the Bilateral Associations of the Chamber.

He is one of the six Cypriot members of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels, which is the institutional body at the level of the European Union of the social partners and non-governmental organisations.

He is Board member of the Research Promotion Foundation, the Cyprus Institute and the Cyprus International Institute of Management.

He served as President of the Cyprus Youth Board and board member of the Cyprus State Fairs Authority.

He is honorary-Consul of Mexico in Cyprus.
