Demosthenis Z. Severis

Born in 1945.

Educated at the Pancyprian Gymnasium (High School) in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Studied at Millfield School, England, and Economics and Commerce at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland.

He entered the family business which involved the manufacturing, importation and distribution of animal feed, insurance and real estate development.

Hi is the Honorary Consul General of Finland in Cyprus and has served as President of the Honorary Consular Corps of Cyprus.

Decoration: Officer of the Order of the White Rose of Finland.
Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland.

He has been an elected member of the Board of the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry 1972-1987, and a member of the Board of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has elected him as an Hon. Member and as an Hon. Member of the Board of the Chamber. He is the President of the Cyprus-Nordic Countries Business Association.
