Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) organize the seminar “Investment and Investment finance in Cyprus”.

 

The seminar will take place online on Thursday 4th of March 2021 from 11:00 – 13:30 (ΕΕΤ time).

 

The conference will focus on investment needs and priorities for Cyprus, bringing together a group of economists, policymakers, representatives from financial institutions and the business community.

 

The President of NCCI Mr. Michalis Moushouttas and the Vice President of EIB  Mrs. Lilyana Pavlova will make the opening remarks, following by the keynote speeches by Mr. Constantinos Petrides (Minister of Finance) and Mr. Constantinos Herodotou (Governor of Central Bank of Cyprus). Then Mr. Pedro de Lima (Head of Economic Studies European Investment Bank) will make a presentation about the EIB Investment Survey (EIBIS) - key findings and implications for Cyprus. Finally, the seminar will conclude with a panel discussion regarding the Corporate Perspective of the Investment in Cyprus, with the participation of Mr. Christodoulos Angastiniotis (President of Cyprus Chamber of Commerce), Mrs. Anita Fürstenberg-Lucius (Director of Operations in Central and Southeastern Europe of EIB), Mr. Kyriakos Kakouris (Economic Director, Ministry of Finance) and Mr. Charis Pouangare (Deputy CEO, Bank of Cyprus). Mrs. Haritini Tsangari (Professor, School of Business, University of Nicosia) will coordinate the discussion.
