Nicosia Chamber meets Serbian Ambassador

The Chairman of the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Michalis Moushouttas, and the Secretary/Director, Mr. Andreas A. Antoniades, had the honor of welcoming H.E. the Ambassador of Serbia, Mrs. Suzana Boskovic-Prodanovic, at the NCCI offices for a constructive discussion on strengthening bilateral relations. The meeting highlighted that by working together, it is possible to unlock new opportunities for cooperation that will benefit both business communities and the people of Nicosia and Belgrade, as the capitals of the two countries. Cyprus and Serbia share deep historical roots, grounded not only in cultural, economic, and historical experiences but also in common faith, religion, and tradition. These bonds of heritage have shaped a mutual understanding and respect that continue to strengthen the ties between the two nations.

Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in education, health,  tourism, as well as other sectors, while reaffirming Cyprus's strong support for Serbia’s EU path. Both sides expressed their commitment to fostering closer business collaboration and promoting shared prosperity for the peoples of Nicosia and Belgrade.
